Zirconium silicate is the most used opacifier in the ceramics sector.

Reimbold & Strick Italia mills “premium grade” Zirconium sands (characterized by low Titanium oxide and Iron content) which come from Australia.

The raw material is “dry” milled and the product is then divided and commercialized in different grits: Zirconium flour which passes at 45µm as well as several other products, micronized form 15 µm up to less than 1 µm.
